Bhangarh, which Raja Madho Singh of Amber built in 1613, was prosperous town before it was eventually destroyed. The Mughal emperor Aurangzeb is supposed to have destroyed the fort in order to enlarge his dominion. The fort eventually declined and was abandoned as a result of this.

Many buildings in the city of Bhangarh, including temples, palaces, and cenotaphs, are well-known and are thought to be tied to the enigmatic aura of the fort. The Gopinath Temple, the Hanuman Temple, and the Someshwar Temple are some of the city's top sights. These temples are thought to be the city's most eerie locations.

Much of the city's mysteries stem from the Gopinath Temple, which is thought to be the most haunted location. Some claim to have seen the ghost of a woman roaming around the temple while dressed in a white saree. There are other accounts of individuals who have encountered weird and puzzling events at the shrine.

A wizard is mentioned in one of the city's spooky legends, which are also well known. The story goes that a magician, who had been spurned by the fort's princess, cursed Bhangarh. The city was destroyed by the curse, and many of its residents perished.

One of India's most popular tourist destinations is Bhangarh Fort, where hundreds of people come to unravel its secrets. It is situated at the fringe of the Sariska Tiger Reserve, about 65 kilometres south of Jaipur. The fort is accessible from sunrise to sunset, however due to its spooky ambiance, the area outside the fort is off-limits after nightfall.

One of India's most eerie and spooky destinations, Bhangarh Fort is a must-see for any tourist seeking a singular and exciting adventure.
